Let’s face it, I am a blush girl. I just think a soft flushed cheek makes a huge difference in my mood. Glowy blushes are trending hard right now and I am all aboard that hype train! Here is a list of 5 of my current favorite affordable drugstore blushes.

1. Wet N Wild Megaglo Makeup Stick Blush

There is a reason I have this listed first. It is an everyday staple of mine! I use a stippled brush and gently sweep this on my face before using powders and it gives the most soft, delicate, beautiful flush. It looks very natural while still packing pigment, and because its a cream it stays put. I have been told the shade Peach Bums is also a great dupe for the Nars Multiple stick, but I will need to do more testing to confirm!! Stay tuned.

2. Milani Baked Blush

This is a Youtube cult classic, and for good reason! These blushes are pigmented to the max but still blend like an absolute dream! this is truly a two in one product as I find I can go sans highlight whenever I wear this. I receive compliments from my man anytime I have this one on. I recommend using a dense blending blush to pack the pigment on and then blend in circles around your cheeks to softly diffuse the sparkle. My favorite shade is Luminoso, but all are gorgeous!!

3. Catrice Blush Box

Catrice is such an underrated gem in the makeup world. They rival even Wet N Wild for there prices and the quality is always excellent. They have some super popular matte blushes, but now they also have some glowy blush winners! This one even touts being water resistant and sweatproof so its great for performers! They have glowy and matte shades I personally loved Glistening Pink.

4. Nyx Sweet Cheeks Creamy Powder Blush

Nyx is always consistent in their quality and blushes are no exception! I tried this formula recently and found the powder to be so silky soft, but wow did it still deliver on pigment! This one will be great for all skin tones, and they have some interesting and new shades for those who really want to stand out! My recommendation is the shade Citrine Rose, a cross between coral orange and rose, but they also make a palette for you to try all the shades!

5. Wet N Wild Color Icon Ombre Blush

I saved one of my favorites for last! This is a much more subtle, beautiful from within glow. When I wear this blush it looks as though I maybe got flush from happiness or love. It sound cheesy, but it truly gives such a gentle beauty to it that I think everyone should try this. There are only three shades but there is a deeper tone, for those more fair like me The Princess Daiquiris is a go to! Also for more punch I have layered this one on top of a more intense blush to make it appear more natural, or as a blush topper on a loved matte shade!
