The Best Drugstore Makeup Pressed Powders

The Best Drugstore Makeup Pressed Powders

Pressed powders seem to be the preference currently with makeup wearers. I like the ease of travel and less mess as well as having more pigment punch in my look. The drugstore is absolutely killing it with their pressed powder options and today I want to show six that I have tried and I am loving.

Guys! Are you using Ebates (Rakuten) when you buy stuff online?

1.Maybelline Fit Me Matte+Poreless

Of course, I am gonna mention the Fit Me line! this collection is just everything and the pressed powder is just as excellent as the loose powder.  All 23 shades tout being very long-wearing and will prevent shine. I have gotten 12-hour wear from this one, I like to use a big fluffy brush and build up coverage slowly.

2. L’Oreal True Match Super Blendable Powder

Shop Now: Amazon

Maybe this one should be in our number 1 spot because this line started providing the most shades out there even before high end! This line has 24 shades that divide into warm, neutral, and cool tone skin. I absolutely love this powder and have probably gone through 3 of them in the last year. I find the coverage to be high but still not in any way cakey with a great skin-like finish. This powder performs like a high-end product.

3. L’Oreal Infallible Pro-Matte 16HR Powder

Shop Now: Amazon

This is a smooth soft matte powder that is very popular among those who love the foundation. It really is a super long-lasting product. I have had this go all day and I never got oily. It does pack on coverage as well but be wary not to overbuild it. Also, it does not have the best shade range sadly.

4. Essence All About Matt! Fixing Compact Powder

Shop Now: Amazon

Essence is a rival for e.l.f. as far as being so cheap!! I found some products can be hit or miss but this one is a must-try! Less than $4 for a soft, smooth translucent powder that will set any foundation and keep you feeling very matte and smooth. I would recommend this one for all skin types!

5. Wet N Wild Photo Focus Pressed Powder

Shop Now: Amazon

This once again is one of those powders where I hit pan on the regular and always repurchase immediately. I cannot speak highly enough of this affordable product. It is really a no-fuss powder that is very sheer as far as any pigment and it does not change the finish of the foundation underneath. Where I find this product is a true stand out is how it holds up to flash photography. I will only wear this powder if I am having a girl’s night out because you never know how many photos the girls will post! I cannot recommend this powder enough.

6. e.l.f Tone Correcting Powder

Shop Now: Elf Cosmetics

I feel like I should maybe have titled this post as powders I have hit pan on because once again I have gone through this powder more than once. The four colored segments swirled together to create a tone balancing effect that leaves your skin just looking so even and smoothed out. I actually like wearing this one on bare skin with just spot concealer because it helps cover redness or dark circles I simply find this one to be as good as any high-end tone corrector out there. The price is also insane you really have nothing to lose!

Looking back on my list you can see how high I can recommend these picks. They are all highly vetted by me as I have been using some of these for years! A pressed powder is a must for any makeup collection and you can now feel safe choosing any of these picks!
