Carrabba’s Herb Oil Dip Mix At Home!

What do Olive Garden, Texas Roadhouse, Red Lobster, and Carrabbas all have in common? They all bring out an amazing bread that I end up filling up on and not eating my entire entree lol. I love the herby oil that Carrabba’s brings out to dip your bread into it is heaven! It turns out it’s so insanely easy to make that I’m kind of annoyed I didn’t figure it out sooner to enjoy at home! Then I can skip an entree all together! Bread for dinner anyone??


Carrabba’s Herb Oil Dip Mix At Home!


  • 1 tsp crushed red pepper
  • 1 tsp ground black pepper
  • 1 tsp dried oregano
  • 1 tsp dried rosemary
  • 1 tsp dried basil
  • 1 tsp dried parsley
  • 1 tsp granulated garlic
  • 1 tsp minced fresh garlic
  • 1 tsp kosher salt
  • 1/4 cup extra virgin olive oil (or as needed)

Firstly, I recommend “blooming” your spices, often these dried herbs sit in our cabinets a long time and don’t taste as fresh as they used to, but if you heat up a pan on medium heat and dump in the dry spices (oregano, rosemary, basil, parsley) and just sort of move them around in the bottom of the pan with a spatula they will warm up and release their natural oils and you will know they have bloomed when ur kitchen becomes amazingly fragrant from the herbs. After this just throw them into your bowl and add the other ingredients, top with olive oil to taste. You’re done!! Enjoy with bread. Or drink it.. yumm!
